With heart and soul
„You can serve the Lord even with peeling potatoes, if you make it on a perfect way” We hear in the film titled „Chariots of Fire”, 1981, directed by Hugh Hudson. 4 Oscar prize had been won by the film.
That’s true, every profession, every activity can be greatly honoured, if you do it with heart and soul and your expertise is highly developed.
The skill of the good quality Swedish massage is also not learnt by a few days course, but you need honest and true pursuit to give really good feeling to your Customers. You should not regret the time and energy to study the style of the great masters and to understand the conseption and the substance of this traditional Europian massage.
There is another factor – the Guest himself! You can not be good masseur if you disregard your Customer’ s individual physical and soul condition and requirements. That is you must have empathy on a high level.
Moreover, you should add some other spices: your own creativity and unique manner, otherwise why should that precious Guest look just for you and not anyone from the others ?
Have you ever thought that a simple massage could be so comlicated mathematical example?
That ’ s why I feel challange in it even after a few decades of international trade and economist practice.

My friends offen ask me : why on erath do you deal with massage? Fact, I do not do it for a living but it is also more than a hobby, although I do it in my spare time. My spare time is very valuable, I myself do not have much of it. That is why I can not give you free… I had quite a few massage in different wellness centers and hotels. I got „twelve from a dozen” type of service several times, but met some dedicated persons as well.
Once I met a middle age lady, who offered me „Maori massage”. I thougt it was some marketing thing and was even loughing. Then I had so fascinating experience, that I was perfectly impressed. (No, there was no sex !) She did it with heart and soul and it was very good feeling. I also had the feeling she wanted to give me something good.
There are quite a few style of massage, but effective only if we do it heart and soul.
That „Maori” adventure inspirated me to try to give some good feeling to my Guests. And I am happy, if it is done.
Yes, I admit, I am so selfish that I do it because it is good me (also).
